What are the rules for working with Shore Staffing?

  1. Remember - we are "guests" in their house.  We expect smiles on your faces and total cooperation when you are working at one of our facilities.  If you have a problem, call us.  We want to know.
  2. We need you to be in touch with us on a daily basis, if at all possible.  When a client calls us with a need, we may only have ten minutes to find someone to fill their need.  If we know your ability and know where to get ahold of you, it works great.  But when we call, you need to take the call.
  3. You will need to sign our Employment Agreement prior to your first shift.  The policies are spelled out there.  These policies are for you.
  4. Finally - we will always be there for you.  But for this to work, you need to communicate with us, let us know if you need time off, and always remember you are a professional.

  • Nurse to patient ration on Days/Evenings/Nights
  • Type of charting/documentation
  • Medication system used
  • Uniform required and if so, what color
  • Patient Care model
    • Primary Nursing
    • Team Nursing
  • Shifts?   Any rotation?
  • Will you float to another unit
  • Length of orientation
  • Where do you park
  • Who do you report to
  • Will tests be required on site
  • What time do you start

All of these are questions everyone has.  Keep this list and be sure to ask these questions.  We want YOU to be prepared and ready to handle each assignment professionally!
